Our Mission

Kulturally LIT’s mission is to cultivate awareness of the Culture of the African Diaspora for everyone, focusing on LITerary arts to enhance LITeracy within the community of the African Diaspora and to honor and celebrate the significance of the contributions of the arts and culture of the African Diaspora in the global landscape.

About

Kulturally Lit’s core is the Seven Principles of Kwanzaa Our purpose is to merge these principles into our global community by producing celebrations, conferences, festivals, workshops and retreats that inspire self-awareness and honor the African Diaspora.

    Possible Futures and Kulturally Lit are launching The Hundred Years of Baldwin Bookclub, which will take place at Possible Futures on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 6:30pm. We will read a book a month and engage with additional sources along the way.
